On May 8, 2026, at 3:54 PM, Baldwin Fire Rescue was dispatched to the Dollar Tree in Brentwood Borough for a reported structure fire. Multiple Baldwin Fire Rescue units responded to the scene.

Engine 2 arrived as the first-due engine and stood by at a nearby hydrant in the event it was needed. Truck 1 arrived as the first-due truck company and positioned itself at the front of the structure to provide roof access.

A crew from Engine 2 assisted Brentwood Fire Department with fire suppression and overhaul operations inside the store. An additional crew from Truck 1 conducted a roof inspection to check for possible fire extension, which yielded negative results.

Baldwin units operated on the scene for approximately 45 minutes before being cleared by Command. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Allegheny County Fire Marshal’s Office.
