SLOW DOWN WHEN DRIVING IN WINTER CONDITIONS.

Yesterday evening, Station 106 responded to a second alarm…

Yesterday evening, Station 106 responded to a second alarm assignment to assist the Castle Shannon Volunteer Fire Department with a working structure fire. Engine 1 & 3, Squad 1, Utility 1, and the Assistant responded with 13 personnel from 106. Crews executed laddering, fire suppression, and overhaul operations for approximately 3 hours prior to being released by incident command. One Baldwin Fire Rescue firefighter was transported to a local hospital due to heat exhaustion. Great job to all the crews that worked this incident in the heat and challenging fire conditions!
