SLOW DOWN WHEN DRIVING IN WINTER CONDITIONS.

January 2026 Monthly Recap: 70 Incidents

Monthly Recap

Baldwin Fire Rescue responded to 70 incidents during the month of January. The end of the month brought some of the harshest winter weather we have seen in quite some time, including frigid temperatures and significant snowfall.

Our training sessions this month were focused on reviewing recent incidents, as well as performing essential vehicle and station maintenance. Given that extreme weather can strain our equipment, taking this extra time ensures we remain ready to respond regardless of conditions while minimizing potential downtime. We look forward to the month ahead and the hope of warmer weather.
